Professional Recording Artist Jeanne Jolly To Perform Saturday Night June 5th.

Growing up in Raleigh, NC with an active and unconditional loving family gave me a strong foundation for an openness to music. We spent a lot of time camping in the Appalachian Mountains where the air is filled with bluegrass and years later I graduated from Western Carolina University nestled deep in the Blue Ridge. There I studied classical voice and tried everything from opera, to jazz, blues, & bluegrass. I continued my opera studies at New England Conservatory and left Boston with a Masters in Vocal Performance. While living in Los Angeles, I landed a great gig as the featured vocalist for Grammy Award winning Jazz Trumpeter Chris Botti and toured with him for a year all over the U.S. and Canada. I'm so grateful for that experience and the opportunity to perform with an all star band, sometimes joined by a symphony, in venues that I've always dreamed of. I've had an absolute ball stripping back down to what I have always loved... the beautiful simple melodic nature and lyrical content of pure country/rock/Americana. In doing this, I have risen into a beautiful musical community of true musicians with a lot of heart and a ton of creativity. I have always loved singing this music. It feels like home and it's good to be back North Carolina sharing it.
